rust's last rest

heaps of rust
Way back, when Holland still had ship yards, I stumbled over this one. The light was with me, and so was my Contaflex (I was on a gig, but that's only a weak excuse). These were made on Ektachrome MS, my favorite Kodak transparency material. Produced to shoot what were still called plates for movie background projection, it was the best stuff for originals; less contrasty than Kodachrome. It was phased out when Kodak, because of pollution problems, switched from E-4 to E-6 processing; wonder whatever was E-5's fate - just like the Douglas DC-5?

Always had bad luck with Kodachrome, anyway -
the rare rolls I used invariably were ruined by even much rarer lab mistakes.
Just my proverbial luck.
