Way back, when Holland still had ship yards, I stumbled over this one. The light was with me, and so was my Contaflex (I was on a gig, but that's only a weak excuse). These were made on Ektachrome MS, my favorite Kodak transparency material. Produced to shoot what were still calledplatesfor movie background projection, it was the best stuff for originals; less contrasty than Kodachrome. It was phased out when Kodak, because of pollution problems, switched from E-4 to E-6 processing; wonder whatever was E-5's fate - just like the Douglas DC-5?
Always had bad luck with Kodachrome, anyway -
the rare rolls I used invariably were ruined by even much rarer lab mistakes.
Just my proverbial luck.
