Gyoen Park
Shinjuku-ku

bars

One of the most famous gardens of Japan. You'll find it in a lot of books.
And it is one of the finest and most tasteful we visited.

Even the trampling crowds of visitors did not detract from the serenely sumptuous spectacle; not even the hordes of photographers. You have to know that the Japanese have the utmost respect with the greatest courtesy for anybody taking a picture. They will not pass in front of the lens and will wait politely, and patiently, until the shutterbug has finished. Really an exceptional attitude, especially when you see some ass standing at the wrong side of a path and making everybody wait, when he could just as well cross over to the other side to take his Precious Picture without holding up anyone.
