Kaga Castle
Straight out of Kurosawa!
Well, actually, as far as I know, the Great One never used it.
But he might as well have done so.
Like most of these, you can't get inside. They still belong to the emperor or somebody who likes his privacy. There's plenty to enjoy from the outside, though. Very well kept up, too.
Then, right across the street is one of the most famous Japanese gardens, originally laid out for the castle owner's pleasure.
