South Africa
You really get reminded time and time again how much South Africa is like the USA, and specifically the Far West.
Being just a hillbilly, I've never been there, but from what I've seen it's a wonderful place for panorama shots.
At least South Africa is, even if I'm mistaken about the USA.
Many of these places are out in the middle of nowhere.
We often had to return on our tracks as the road just sort of petered out.
