the cable cars take you up/down a mountain, where, as always in these parts, there's Some Holiness
maybe to protect passengers? those cars look and feel flimsier than your run-of-the-merry-go-round - scary!
but Maria needs some maintenance herself
I'm afraid that's typical, again. Many fountains just don't work (feels almost like home.)
The "airco" in the underground blows out billowing clouds of water droplets, that have a cooling effect
because of evaporation - when you stand close by; farther off, it just makes the humidity worse.
By the way, just like in Jamaica, there aren't many trains left; better take the bus.
