Patagonia

Puerto Natales
The end of the Navimag voyage from Puerto Montt southwards.
Our take-off point for a side-trip to Torres del Paine, El Calafate and Chaltén (in Argentina)
before driving down to Punta Arenas.

they have this thing with
black-necked swans
Not a big city by any means. Nice quiet place.
There's a "Patagonia lounge" whose logo we ripped off as our Hot Chile symbol (I never stepped inside).
Typical Patagonia architecture. We liked it.

around and about

cave where they found the fossils of the prehistoric milodón; those now are in Germany - of course!

out of the cave: magnificent daylight

out on the pampas

really missed out on morro chico (right)
it's like a wart sticking out of flat lands
back in town
