largest Jamaican Jerk center in the World
Don't get turned off by that sign! This stuff is good eating. A bit hot, maybe?
When we left, on the airport we bought a small bottle of the condiment, a rather larger bottle of Tía María
and the largest size Blue Mountain coffee we could get.
All were finished much too soon.
You see these lorries all over Jamaica's pot-holed roads, in town and country.
With their small cast-iron wheels, they must be a horror to push and pull.
But you meet small kids with them out in the middle of nowhere,
carrying an empty jerrican or a crate of soda bottles to get refills.
This island is poor.
Amen.
