Not only they were there first, they're still very much around. Sometimes they get underfoot, maybe?
Who cares - let them have their fun, be it ever so superstitious.

A lot of what they left is in the Museum of Anthropology, but there's much more around. Not only that, their art is alive and well. Many of those exhibits date from fairly recently; better, there's a lot of presently produced stuff around for sale in Vancouver, much of it quite fine. What you get to see below is just a very small idiosyncratic sample of the impressive museum collection.
