My friend Mitsonubo Nakamura of MOMA, Fukuoka, Japan, asked me to write the story on Willy's and my meetings with Yayoi Kusama,
and I was happy to do so. The resulting 2017 short book Kusama for Company was translated to Japanese by Terue Yamauchi.
It was then edited by Mattijs Visser of 0-institute with many pictures by other photographers added to mine.
More text was written by Margriet Schavemaker, Artistic Director of Amsterdam Museum. Finally, it was published by MER.,
an imprint of Borgerhoff and Lamberigts NV.
Price of the 128 page book was €29.50.
(Amazon USA tried to sell it for a while for $1999 (No Kidding!) but that didn't work out.)
